Bird Nest and Blockage Removal
A stove that drew perfectly in spring and spills smoke in autumn has usually gained a nest over the summer. Jackdaws drop sticks down flues until they lodge, and the resulting blockage is both a smoke hazard and a carbon monoxide risk. We clear it, check the flue and stop it recurring.

Camera inspection

Clearance
The blockage is removed and brought down cleanly, with the hearth sheeted and the room protected.
Sweep and re-check
The full flue is swept and re-checked on camera to confirm it is clear from top to bottom.
Prevention
A bird guard or anti-downdraught cowl is fitted where appropriate, which is the only permanent fix.
