Do you actually supply stoves, or only install them?

We supply and install. You can also buy your own appliance and have us fit it, but supplying it lets us match the flue components correctly and register the warranty for you.

Will the stove heat the whole house?

Not usually on its own. A stove heats the room it is in extremely well and the adjacent space a little. Boiler stoves that feed radiators are a different specification and we can discuss them at survey.

Wood or multifuel, which should I buy?

If you have a reliable supply of dry logs, a wood-only stove burns them better because it uses a bed of ash and air from above. Choose multifuel if you want the option of smokeless fuel, particularly in a smoke control area.

What size stove do I need?

Far smaller than most people expect. A typical living room needs around four to five kilowatts. Oversizing leads to a stove that is run slowly and closed down, which tars the flue and blackens the glass.
